It was really lovely to receive this message from friends who have stayed with us…..
“Good day to you Mary,
In September, I and two friends hiked the Coast to Coast and stayed at your wonderful Lovesome Farm.
In the morning, at breakfast, you served us some of your award-winning jam. I raved over the taste of the marmalade and asked you about it. I did that, in part, to cover my continuous dipping into the jar.
As we parted, you gave a jar to Peter Noot and said to give it to me later. What joy!
I have saved it until Christmas and our annual holiday stay with Peter and Rebecca. Today we brought it out at breakfast. It took me back to that morning with you and John.
