There have been a few changes at Lovesome Hill Farm. John had his hip replacement before Christmas and prior to that decided that the sheep were getting harder to manage. So all the ewes were sold and we now just have a few lambs left to sell.
We follow another direction with the farm, as Matthew our son develops the farming operation, in another direction to become more sustainable.
We are still a mixed farm with bulls, Aberdeen Angus cows and calves, pigs and cereals
We have loved having all our guests for the lambing breaks over the past years. Their memories and conversations we had will stay with us when we welcomed young and old around the kitchen table.
We will be still welcoming guests for bed and breakfast. For those who have stayed before we welcome you back. It would be lovely to have you visit again.
New for 2021 was the Lovesome Pod with exclusive hot tub. Lovesome Cottage also with its own hot tub. Both offer a relaxing get-away overlooking a “peace” of North Yorkshire.
